Yummy!!
Anxiously awaiting his food
Mmmm...bananas
And a little prune to top it off (for his tummy ache).
Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear...
...And in Riley's case has lots of hair!!

Just a little up date with what has been going on in the Burdo household:
-Still living in my parents house, the rental is STILL not ready. It's been nice to see my parents so much but we are ready for our own place and I'm sure they are ready to have their house back as well.
-Riley had his 6 month check up and is doing great. He gained several pounds since his last check up but hardly grew at all which was a little disappointing. The doctor said that genetics starts kicking in at around 6 months so hopefully he won't take after his short mother! It's not looking good so far...
Weight: 17.1 lbs (50%)
Height: 26.5 inches (50%)
-Riley started daycare yesterday (3 days a week) and did really well. I almost cried when I dropped him off and had dreams the night before that when I came and picked him up he was already talking and walking and I felt like I had missed so much.
I really like our daycare, it's in a house and is run by a husband and wife that have been doing it for a really long time. They only have 8 kids and Riley is the youngest so he gets lots of attention. When I dropped him off this morning, only the little girls were there so far and were all sitting around a table doing crafts. When I walked in they all said "hiiiii Riley" in their cute little girl voices and were so excited to see him (he is going to be ladies man).
-Grandma and Grandpa Brown have been coming into town a lot and have graciously offered to babysit Riley the last two weekends so we were able to go out with some of our friends. It was nice to get out of the house and be around other adults (our evenings out are much tamer then they used to be).

It's official...
...we no longer live in Seattle. The problem is that we don't really live in Tri-Cities yet either. We moved all of our worldly possessions out of our house last weekend and into a trailer, since our rental isn't available yet (we are crossing our fingers for next weekend) we are staying at my parents house and living out of the trailer, hence the reason for the lack of posts.... Once we get a little more settled, we will be better about posting what's going on in the Burdo household. Here are a few pics to hold you over until then.

5 months old!
Today is Riley's 5 month birthday, to celebrate he played in his exersaucer, ate some yummy squash, took a few naps, played with mommy and daddy and passed out at 7. It's a rough life being a baby.
I'm a little behind on blogging and have lots to report. First of all, I have to thank my wonderful hubby for an amazing date night last Friday consisting of dinner at Oceanaire followed by Phantom of the Opera (which was amazing). Our seats were so good that the chandalier came down right in front of us and we could actually feel heat from the various pyrotechnics.
On Saturday, we attended our friends John and Angela's wine release party with Mike and Melinda. They released 5 different fantastic wines. They actually purchased grapes from eastern Washington, crushed them, and whatever else you do to make wine. I was so impressed!!
The biggest news of all is that we put our house on Craigslist for rent, had a great couple come by to see it and they signed the lease yesterday to move in November 1. So Ryan is shooting for his last day at work on October 17 as long as it's ok with his employer and we will be packing and heading to the Tri-Cities. I will miss all our friends in Seattle so much but hopefully we can get people to come visit us once we get all settled. We are only 2 hours from Pullman so we make a great stop to break up the trip!!

He's crazy about his exersaucer, sometimes he gets so excited I'm afraid he'll brake it!
