Yesterday, the talented Brittney Kluse took some great pics of our little family. Riley was a little grumpy and didn't really enjoy being outside in the cold, but you would never know it looking at the pictures. They turned out great and I am so happy with them, now I just need to pick which ones I want to enlarge!

Truckin...

9 Month Checkup

Riley had his 9 month checkup yesterday- the doctor said Riley is the text book example of a perfectly healthy baby.

Here are his stats:

Height: 29.5 inches (75%)
Weight: 20.2 pounds (didn't catch the percentage)

I was really surprised that he only weighed 20 pounds because he certainly feels heavier then that when I'm carrying him around all day.

And since I hate posting without pictures, here is a little video of how Riley sleeps... with his little bum in the air. He always wiggles out of his covers so we have to sneak back in and cover him up before we go to bed. If you listen closely, you can hear him snoring, it's so cute!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Riley celebrated his first Valentines Day- and even had his very own Valentine, thanks for the cards Grandma and Aunt Laurie!

He came home from daycare with this little gem, isn't it the cutest thing you have ever seen!

Catching Up...

Sorry about the lack of blogging, real life got in the way.

Congratulations to Steve and Lexie Buschbach!! They were married this past weekend and I was honored to be a bridesmaid in their wedding. Ryan and I both agreed that it was the most beautiful wedding we have ever been to, truly breathtaking. Unfortunately, I left my camera at home so I don't have any pictures to show you, but I will try and get copies from someone that was there.

Here are a couple of pictures from the past week or so:

He was so cute here, he crawled under his exersaucer and was sitting with his favorite book. He is going to be a reader like his mommy.

A Big Thank You...

A very big thank you to the talented Brittney Kluse for taking time out of her busy schedule to come over to my house and offer tips and techniques for taking better pictures. She was a tremendous help and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I can't wait to practice what I learned!!
