Cousins...

These two...born on the same day, one year apart. I hope they grow up to be as close as all the cousins in my family.

Erin, Sneak Peak

Meet Erin, she is actually Ryan's cousin and drove all the way over from Seattle so I could take her senior pictures! We were lucky enough to get in quite a few great shots before the weather quit cooperating. She could seriously be a model, almost 6 feet tall, legs for days and check out her eyes...

Erin plays in two different bands as the lead singer so we wanted to get a couple of shots with her guitar, she even played a bit for me and is every bit as talented as she is beautiful. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

We're Back!!!

I have to apologize for the lack of blogging lately (but it's not totally my fault). I downloaded a nasty computer virus that completely shut down my computer for about 3 weeks. Ryan worked diligently every night trying to fix it but the virus beat him eventually and we had to reload everything on our computer meaning we lost everything that wasn't back up. Luckily, he was able to save ALL of our pictures which has taught me a very valuable lesson for the future - BACKUP EVERYTHING!!! Next time we might not be so lucky...

What have we been up to this past month?? Quite a bit...we went camping, spent a long weekend in McCall, trying to buy a new house...more on that later. Unfortunately, I am on my lunch break so I will have to blog more tonight but I thought I would post a few pictures since it has been awhile (hopefully I have a few blog readers still out there after my break). More to come tonight!!

Run, Don't Walk...Check This Out!

The talented Megan Borders took our family pictures up in the wheat fields. Riley was not interested in getting his picture taken what so ever, he was more interested in playing with the wheat. I was a little worried with how the pictures would turn out and that she wouldn't get any good shots of his face, I definitely had nothing to worry about. They turned out amazing and I absolutely LOVE them.

What a cutie...

We totally lucked out in the kid department- we are so lucky to have such a cute, happy, healthy baby (I guess he's not really a baby any more). He has sooo much personality now and picks up on things so fast it amazes me. I sat him down on the step once, he got up and I told him to go sit back down and he backed up and sat back down. I love that he is starting to understand me. He points when he wants something, and has his own little way of communicating with us (sometimes very loudly).
