This summer...

As the summer is winding down, I thought I would give a little recap of what we have been up to...

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather with lots of boating, wakeboarding, and playing in the sand. We have been fortunate enough to go boating almost every weekend and are lucky that Riley enjoys being outdoors as much as we do (which is much different than last summer). He especially loves playing in the sand and making sand castles with Papa "Bum Bum" and then smashing them as soon as they are done, he is such a boy!

5 Years

This post is a couple of days late but worth the wait. 5 years ago- July, 30, 2005 I was lucky enough to become Mrs. Burdo. I can't believe it has already been 5 years...
In order to get married, we had to take marriage class through our pastor and one of the requirements was to write a description about why we wanted to marry each other. I still have these descriptions and pull them out every once in a while. I am so blessed that the reasons I had then still hold true today and that I have so many more reasons to add to my list. I am truly blessed with the most amazing husband/father/best friend I could have ever imagined.

A California Fun Filled Weekend

We were lucky enough to spend the 4th of July weekend in sunny California (thank you Mom and Dad!) We jammed a ton of stuff in 3 days; Seaworld, San Diego Zoo and Disneyland!! My personal favorite was the zoo, and I think Riley enjoyed the animals the most as well. Disneland was fun but I would not recommend going on a holiday weekend, Disneyland was crazy! Riley got to ride his first roller coaster and loved it, he is just like his Daddy and loves to go fast! His favorite was the bumper cars though which was no surprise to us. He was amazing all weekend, was a trooper all day, just slept in his stroller when he was tired, and was a perfect angel at every meal. Let's hope the next baby is as easy as he is!

Baby Burdo...Boy???

We had another ultrasound today and at 14 weeks the doctor is pretty sure we are having another boy!! You can see the arrow pointing to "it" in the first picture.

I spent all evening looking at bunk beds and imagining how close Riley and his baby brother are going to be.
