3 months

Cooper, Coop, Pooper, Coop the Poop, my little chunkey monkey, you have brought so much joy into our lives. Ryan always said when I was pregnant with you that he was afraid since Riley was such a good baby that you would be our little monster. I'm not sure how we got so lucky but so far I think you're even easier than Riley was...

I love how you watch your crazy brother all the time, how you have a special smile for daddy when he gets home from work, how you smile as soon as you hear my voice. Your smiles light up my world. You are a talker, you constantly make cooing and goo goo noises, I can't wait to find out what you are saying.

You have been a pretty good sleeper from the time we took you home, but just recently you started sleeping all the way through the night (9 pm to 7 am) and I couldn't be more thrilled.

You have also just recently discovered your thumb. This I am not so thrilled about, I keep shoving binkies back into your mouth hoping you will not be a thumb sucker.

I love that every time we try and do tummy time, you flop over back onto your back, you have been able to do this since you were 4 days old and have only gotten better at it. (I think it is because you have the Watts head and all that extra weight is just too hard to hold up for too long).

We love you Cooper, you are our perfect baby boy, thank you for making our little family finally feel complete.

Sleep...

We are getting lots of it (sleep) around here. Cooper has slept from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am 3 nights in a row! Here is to hoping this trend continues.

So sweet

He is seriously the sweetest baby, all smiles and cuddles and deep soulful eyes...I love him like crazy!

2 Month Checkup

We had Coop's 2 month checkup today, doc said he looks perfect!

Here are his stats:
Height: 22.75 inches (42%)
Weight: 12.7 pounds (67%)

He is my perfect little chunkey monkey!

Artsy Fartsy

Ryan and I (mostly Ryan) built Riley this ENOURMOUS chalkboard for his room. We put him down for a nap in our room and finished it while he was sleeping. I felt like it was Christmas morning and couldn't wait for him to wake up so he could see it, I knew he would love it. He LOVED it, he drew us airplanes, circles, the letter K, (which all looked like squiggles but he was thrilled). He may just take after his mama and love anything arts and crafts.

2 Months {already}

I can't believe my little man is 2 months already, it has gone by soo fast! He is growing so much every day, some of his 0 to 3 months clothes no longer fit him. I want him to slow down, he is our last baby and I just want to enjoy every second of it. With Riley, I couldn't wait for the next stage, but with Cooper, I just want him to stop changing so quickly.
He is smiling tons now, coos all the time and is generally just a happy go lucky, snuggly baby.

It seems like everytime I turn around, Riley says something new that absolutely amazes me and I wish that I had it on video. Well, we broke out the video camera and asked him to pull out some of his favortie tricks. This is just a small sample of what we get first hand everyday.
