The talented Megan Borders took our family pictures up in the wheat fields. Riley was not interested in getting his picture taken what so ever, he was more interested in playing with the wheat. I was a little worried with how the pictures would turn out and that she wouldn't get any good shots of his face, I definitely had nothing to worry about. They turned out amazing and I absolutely LOVE them.

What a cutie...

We totally lucked out in the kid department- we are so lucky to have such a cute, happy, healthy baby (I guess he's not really a baby any more). He has sooo much personality now and picks up on things so fast it amazes me. I sat him down on the step once, he got up and I told him to go sit back down and he backed up and sat back down. I love that he is starting to understand me. He points when he wants something, and has his own little way of communicating with us (sometimes very loudly).

We got a natural on our hands, plus he's a switch hitter. We are still working on his follow through though... :)

Our Water Baby

We had a nice relaxing weekend; played in the park, did some yard work, Ryan took me to a nice dinner and a movie while Grandma and Grandpa Brown watched Riley. All in all a good weekend.

Happy 4th Anniversary!!!

To the love of my life, I wish you were here to celebrate our anniversary but want you to know that I love you more today then the day we were married. You are an amazing husband, father, lover and best friend and I feel so blessed to call you mine. Here is to an amazing 4 years of marriage so far. It hasn't always been easy but I wouldn't change a single moment I've shared with you. I love you!

Kir's Bachelorette Weekend...

This past weekend was my good friend and college roomate Kirstin's bachelorette party. We all met in Walla Walla for the weekend and had a blast wine tasting, eating, drinking a little too much and just catching up. We don't get to see each other that often but when we do, it feels as if nothing has changed and we are all back in the sorority together at WSU. I can't wait for the wedding this weekend in Couer D' Alene, Tim and Kirstin have been dating for 4 years and I am so happy for them!! See you all this weekend! The Beautiful Bride to Be...
